One More Day Until My 3-Year Vacation

1L orientation starts tomorrow, and we'll start receiving assignments next week. I already own more study aids than I'll ever get the chance to review; someone recommends a book, and there I am standing in the checkout line with it. Darned money pits.

After five years of working, it's strange to have school issues again, e.g. When do my loans come through? Why doesn't the school bookstore have all the required textbooks? I hated working 8-5, but I'm starting to miss some of the perks, like income and lack of attachment.

I'm determined not to move until I graduate. I'm completely pooped from this cross-country haul. I still have to decide how to decorate my walls, and as soon as I accomplish that, I will be sending you Bay Areans a video tour of my place.
